Our Schools
FIVE KEYS CHARTER
Our original school formed in 2003, Five Keys Charter School continues to provide high quality education to inmates at our original sites in the San Francisco jails, as well as at our new sites in the Los Angeles in-custody facilities. To accommodate short sentences, classes are offered year-round in intensive, one-month semesters, allowing students to earn credits more quickly.
FIVE KEYS INDEPENDENT STUDY SCHOOL
Our independent study only school, Five Keys Independence High operates, in partnership with Community Based Agencies, in virtually every site Five Keys serves. These sites provide individualized education services for students at wide ranging levels in all subjects. Independence opened along with Adult in 2008 but has grown to become our largest school serving upwards of 1000 students each week.
Fully Accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
